Understanding Body Fat Percentage
Body fat percentage is the proportion of fat tissue in your body compared to total body weight. Unlike BMI, it distinguishes between fat mass and lean mass (muscle, bone, organs).

Note: The Navy Tape Method provides an estimate within 3-4% of more precise clinical measurements. For best results, take measurements at the same time of day and ensure the tape is level and snug but not compressing the skin.
